Many tutors try to sell clients on their own scores. High personal scores matter (and I have those, too), but most find their money wasted with past tutors due to lack of teaching skill. In becoming a record-breaking educator, I found that students need the uncommon to succeed: interactive instruction, effective checks for understanding, and progressive sequencing for application. I won’t give away all my secrets, but be rest assured I have mastered and proven these skills to near perfection. Moreover, I always ensure that each client’s learning style (including any disabilities) and unique personal expectations are accounted for.
