MK stands for Mo Kaushal – the founder and head tutor of MK Tutoring.
During college, I began my journey in education as a tutor at a local Boys & Girls Club. My students were so grateful for my help that it led to me becoming a licensed high school teacher after graduating. Ever since, I have known that education is a calling of mine from God. During and after teaching, I began tutoring and have now tutored tons of clients to great results. I strive to model the right character, mindset, and attitude for all my tutoring clients.
As this tutoring service is an online one, payments must be made through PayPal, CashApp, or Venmo.
For hourly tutoring, payments are due at least 24 hours before the start of a tutoring session. For package deals, payments are due either all up front, in 2 installments, or in 3 installments. First installments must be paid prior to the first session.
Regardless of payment model, the individual making payments will be required to e-sign a very brief Payment Agreement prior to the first tutoring session. This will protect both the tutor’s payment and the client’s refund in the unlikely event that any issue arises. I welcome questions about payment or the Payment Agreement at any time.
I will offer strong flexibility in scheduling to each client. We will work together prior to the first session to create a week-by-week schedule based on both of our availabilities.
If my tutoring schedule is full at the moment, I will still provide a 100% free consultation and will also refer you to other great tutors for your test and needs.
All sessions meet through a Zoom meeting hosted by the tutor. Zoom is much better than in-person tutoring because tutors can leverage computer resources (e.g., images, videos, digital tests, whiteboard, shared screen, etc.). All tutoring sessions will be recorded for quality assurance and tutor/client access purposes.
You will be allowed 1 “freebie” for which you can cancel and reschedule even minutes prior to the session.
After this 1 “freebie”, you will be required to provide at least 12 hours’ notice in order to cancel and reschedule. Otherwise, you will forfeit your entire reserved time and payment for that session. If a package deal client, your total package amount due will not change – and the missed session will count towards your total hours.
No-shows will have 15 minutes after the scheduled start time to show up – then will forfeit their payment due for the total scheduled session time.
If a tutoring session is completed as scheduled, no refund will be allowed. However, if a tutor does not show up to a session either within 5 minutes after the scheduled start time or ends the meeting more than 5 minutes early without express or recorded verbal consent of the client, the client will have the option to either demand a full refund for that specific amount of time scheduled – or demand a prompt rescheduled session for the scheduled full time of the original session.
I live in Nashville, TN. I am a husband and father of 2 young boys. My time outside of working is currently occupied by my family and being in law school. I am a 3L at Nashville School of Law. After law school, I plan on becoming a solo attorney serving middle Tennessee while continuing my tutoring company nationally. Lastly, I am a Christian who seeks to glorify God in all that I do and am – a real Christian who strives to love, serve, and treat ALL people right.
